Campsite Description

This is a family-run campsite with fantastic facilities, including a health suite, well-stocked shop and a brand new wine cellar and restaurant, serving traditional Austrian specialities. There's a small pool on site and a private lake, which is accessible via an underpass from the site and is suitable for swimming and fishing. The pitches are set on flat, grassy terrain and are divided by shrubs. During high season sporting activities are organised for adults and children alike, with evening barbecues and live music events. There are endless opportunities for walking and cycling in the area, both guided and unaccompanied and the 10km circular cycle route around the lake reveals marvellous views. The spectacular road passing over the Grossglockner range - the highest mountains in Austria - makes for an unforgettable road-trip. For a taste of local village life, there are a number of traditional festivals held in the area throughout the year. **Please note that facilities on-site may be limited in winter but most will be open by the end of April.
