This picturesque 'Castels' site is set in the wooded gardens of an attractive private château deep in the heart of the beautiful Picardy countryside. Close to the Somme estuary and amongst lush meadows, this family site has an array of excellent facilities. These include three pools (one of which is covered), a beautifully converted stable restaurant and a driving range for golf enhusiasts. The medieval port of St Valéry is just a leisurely bike ride away, or travel that bit further by car and visit the lively seaside resorts and sandy beaches of the Opal Coast. The elegant town of Le Touquet, the Great War battlefields and historic Rouen are also all worth a visit. Location: In an attractive, wooded and peaceful setting, close to the medieval port of St Valéry. Around & about: Don't miss the 'Bagatelle' theme park, the Marquenterre bird reserve, and the Somme battlefields. Days out: Visit the Aqualand waterpark at Le Touquet beach, open all year round, with both indoor and outdoor activities. The Black Hole, Twister and Serpent's Mouth are strictly for the brave whilst the jacuzzi, solarium and sun terrace are great for winding down.
