Campsite Description

Situated on an attractive island on the River Seine, in a chic Parisian suburb, Camping International is a well maintained site with adequate facilities which is set in a beautiful location. The pitches are medium in size, partly shaded by tall trees and some have a view of the nearby river. With a major train station a short walk away, it is possible to be in the heart of the French capital in only 20 minutes making it an ideal base from which to explore this enchanting City of Lights. (It should be noted that trains can be heard from the site). Be it shopping or sightseeing, there is plenty to do in this cosmopolitan city. Location: The campsite is a short stroll away from the affluent suburb of Maisons Laffitte which has a good selection of trendy bars and restaurants. Around & about: The magnificent Palace of Versailles with its breathtaking gardens is only 30 minutes by train. Or for the young at heart, Disneyland Paris just 50 minutes by train. For a special occasion, why not enjoy a nightime river cruise on the Seine taking in the Cathedral of Notre Dame or the Musée du Louvre whilst enjoying a gourmet dinner under the stars.
