Campsite Description

This attractive site offers a fantastic range of activities for all the family in a pleasant, verdant setting characterised by beautiful poplar trees, weeping willows, shrubs and flowers. There are three small lakes where you can go fishing, hire pedalos and canoes (charges apply) or simply relax on the small beach, ideal for a spot of sunbathing followed by a refreshing dip. There is also a special parkland area, a lovely environment for the children to play in. Best of all, the friendly owners are planning to build an excellent new pool complex for the 2010 season. Adults shouldn't miss the beauty therapy and gym centre, perfect for a spot of pampering (charges apply). The take-away and cosy on-site restaurant offer good value for money serving a variety of dishes including local cuisine. The pretty village of Vic-Sur-Aisne, just a short stroll away, is a delight to explore and the surrounding countryside, steeped in First World War history, has much to offer. Location: Pleasantly situated in the Aisne valley beside a gently meandering river and the Forest of Compiègne. Around & about: Paris is just 90 minutes away by train or car. Children love the Astérix Theme park, which is south of Senlis, about 56km from the site. The forests of Compiègne make for delightful walking.
