Site Guide
Campsite Description
This modern campsite has a lovely woodland setting, and is just 500m from the grounds of the most majestic château in the Loire Valley, Chambord. With excellent facilities, which are based around a 17th Century manor house, this site has spacious and grassy pitches which are flat and well defined. It also has an attractive aqua complex with waterslides, a lazy river and a covered pool, which along with the indoor computer games room, makes the campsite an excellent choice for families with children of all ages. With the recent addition of a small indoor spa, complete with a sauna, hammam and jacuzzi, the campsite is also ideal for couples looking for a relaxing break. In high season the campsite organises transport to the nearby River Loire where canoeing is available, and the site is ideally placed to visit the many vineyards, châteaux and troglodyte caves for which this region is known.

Barber Family,
The only site we've visited in 3 years where everything in the sanitation block worked and there were NO problems during the time of our stay. Loved the fact that there were toddler/baby rooms for bathing, although a pull-down table would make it easier to do this job single-handed. The site has a wonderful pool complex, with options for all ages/abilities. Shame the weather didn't allow us to do it justice! Restaurant was good value for money and the service was excellent. The take-away on site was also good. Didn't really use the bar although the kids liked the fact you could watch films there. The children would have liked to have been able to buy ice-creams on site that were like those served in the restaurant. The on site shop was quite expensive but you could get essentials/emergency stuff. Breakfast pastries and bread were good quality although it was busy.
