Campsite Description

This attractive site lies in the peaceful grounds of an old manor house and is perfect for families with young children. Most pitches are located in the pretty woodland area which provides welcome shade. The site boasts an excellent range of facilities including a superb swimming pool complex with covered pool and waterslide, and benefits from the recent addition of a fun lazy river ride. If you need some pampering, the new sauna is the perfect place to unwind, and there's even a massage room for the ultimate in relaxation. There's also a bar and restaurant, with an inviting terrace and an attractive fishing lake where you can relax by the water's edge. Location: Only a five minute walk to the tiny village of Muides-sur-Loire, on the south bank of the Loire and 10km from Chambord. Around & about: Chambord is famous for its magnificent château, and the campsite is ideally placed for visiting this and many of the other splendid châteaux scattered across the valley. For adventurous types, the river Loire is great for a day's canoeing, and in high season the site will even organise your transport to the river. Days out: Why not join one of the site's day trips to the vibrant capital of Paris, or their wine tasting trip to a nearby producer's cellars.
