Campsite Description

The peaceful serenity of Camping Les Ecureuils is just part of the reason why many of our customers return here year after year. Set in a lovely wooded suburb, this campsite boasts attractive, private pitches that are shaded by tall beautiful pine trees and which are home to families of friendly squirrels. Most pitches are separated by neat hedges and the campsite itself is interspersed with a colourful array of different flowers. Camping Les Ecureuils is ideally suited to young families and couples and has a magnificent L-shaped swimming pool complete with a sunbathing terrace and an adjacent bar where you can enjoy a relaxing drink. However, please note that the bar is normally only open in high season. The indoor pool complete with its jacuzzi and fitness area is a welcome addition too, especially in low season. Location: A short walk from the site will take you to the quaint little town of Jard sur Mer, with its narrow streets, assortment of intimate cafes and bars and a small yachting port. Around & about: The nearest beach, which is across from the campsite is pleasant despite being rocky, and there is also a vast number of gloriously golden sandy beaches just a short drive away. The busy tourist resorts of Les Sables d'Olonne, La Rochelle and Luçon are all close enough for a day trip.
