Close to picturesque Salò and the pretty lakeside town of Portese, Camping Eden is set on a steeply terraced hillside with some magnificent views of Lake Garda. Whether you want to relax in the beautiful surroundings, explore the area's rich history and tradition or take advantage of the extensive range of watersports - from canoeing to waterskiing - on offer, there is something here for every taste. Camping Eden boasts a friendly atmosphere and first class, well-maintained facilities including a great pool area and a private lakeside beach easily accessible from the site. In the evenings, the bustling restaurant/pizzeria always proves a popular choice, with some wonderful local cuisine on offer. This is also the venue for occasional evening entertainment. There are plenty of activities including a cinema to keep the children entertained and the site organise excursions to Venice, Verona, Milan and Florence for those who want to explore Italy's ancient cities. Location: Set on the western shores of Lake Garda, 3km from San Felice del Benaco, with wonderful views of the lake. Days out: There are a number of fantastic festivals in the area and don't miss the opportunity to explore Naviglio Grande antiques fair, with over 400 stalls. For a wonderful family day out, take the ferry from Portese across to the Gardaland amusement park. For pure relaxation, head to the lakeside beaches at nearby Salò or Baia del Vento.
