Campsite Description

Camping Vilanova Park is set high on a hillside overlooking the fishing port of Vilanova and the azure waters of the Mediterranean. The site has been developed around traditional Catalan farm buildings which now house the bar and restaurant. Pitches are set on slightly sloping ground, shaded by mature palm trees. The spectacular pool complex always proves popular and there's a lovely indoor pool complete with jacuzzi and a gym. (Please note that charges apply for the indoor pool and spa facilities). In high season, the site organises a variety of entertainment including aqua aerobics, aerobics, boules tournaments and water polo during the day and flamenco and Cuban shows at night, which always pull in a large crowd. The beach is just a short drive from the site and the vibrant city of Barcelona is only 45km away. Location: Situated on a hillside, 3km from Vilanova i la Geltrú. There is a bus stop right outside the campsite. Buses to the beach and Vilanova i la Geltrú train station run every 30 minutes. From here, you can hop on a train to Barcelona for a day's shopping and sightseeing. Around & about: The huge theme park of Port Aventura makes a great family day out, with 5 different themed areas of thrilling rollercoasters, rides and shows.
