Campsite Description

Le Moulin de Paulhiac is set in sprawling wooded grounds surrounding a beautifully restored watermill, in an idyllic rural location. The helpful owners will make you feel most welcome and will do their utmost to ensure that you have a pleasurable stay. The on-site restaurant has a reasonably-priced menu serving regional dishes, with a lovely terrace overlooking the swimming pool. The aquatic complex with its excellent waterslides is always a popular spot for the whole family, and the covered pool makes the site an ideal choice in low season. The gently flowing river Céou ripples past the bottom of the site. Here you can enjoy swimming and fishing from the small beach, perfect for a relaxing afternoon. Wash blocks are maintained to a high standard, and the large pitches are grassy and lightly shaded by walnut, oak and apple trees. Their generous size makes them ideal for people taking large outfits. Location: Amidst rolling hills and wooded countryside, Daglan is a pretty village that is something of a tourist centre for this quieter part of the Dordogne. Around & about: Visit the medieval castle at Domme with its breathtaking views and the caves at La Roque Gageac. Days out: Children will enjoy the Perigord Noir Aquarium in Le Bugue sur Vezere with over 6000 freshwater fish.
