Campsite Description

Set amidst rugged and spectacular scenery on the banks of the Verdon river, Camp du Verdon is an attractive 'Castels' site which is the ideal choice for anyone seeking a lively holiday. As well as the many sporting activities available on site, the surrounding area offers pursuits such as horse riding, mountaineering and a variety of watersports. In high season, the site organises guided walks of the local terrain. The facilities on site are first class, with two swimming pools complete with waterslides, and a charming bar and restaurant that are perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. Peak season activities are offered for all the family with discos organised 3 times a week. The camping area is flat and grassy with some pitches set in meadow and others in woodland. Location: Just 1.5km from Castellane, a small town northwest of Cannes and Grasse. Around & about: The Verdon Gorges, popular with canoeists, are truly stunning, and it is a magnificent drive along the Route Napoléon to Grasse, the capital of the world's perfume industry and to the chic city of Cannes.
