Campsite Description

Airotel Pyrénées is a well-maintained campsite with excellent facilities, which include outdoor and indoor pools, waterslides and an indoor spa area that offers a jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath. Pitches are well defined on grassy terraces, some with lovely views of the surrounding mountains. A fantastic base for active holidays, the site organises mountain biking, canyoning and rafting trips and guided walks for all ability levels. You're just a 15-minute walk from the centre of the lively but traditional mountain town of Luz St Sauveur, where you'll find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Please note that the onsite take-away and small shop are only open in high season. Location: 30km from Lourdes, on the edge of the Pyrénées National Park, at the foot of some of the most impressive passes and close to a main road. Around & about: A short drive from the magnificent Cirque de Gavarnie mountains where there's a 2-hour hiking circuit, and 30km from the pilgrim site of Lourdes. Nearby, the superb Pic du Midi rises 2,865m above sea level and offers the most splendid views.
