Campsite Description

This large, picturesque site is well cared for by its friendly owners, and offers an excellent range of amenities including two large, modern swimming pools with fine views across the Mediterranean. Adjacent are the sunny bar terrace and site restaurant (open from April), where you can enjoy traditional Spanish dishes. A footbridge takes you across the busy coastal road and down a hundred or so steps to a beautiful cove. The pitches, which are set on landscaped terraces and generally shaded by tall pine trees, tend to be small (70m2) but larger pitches are requestable at a supplement. Location: Situated on a steep hillside 3km north of Playa d'Aro town, just 40km from Gerona. Around & about: There are many hidden coves and fishing ports to discover along the Costa Brava coastline. • Go on a coastal excursion in the Illes Medes marine reserve to see the reefs and tropical fish. • For some action, go on an organised quad biking excursion with an instructor (5km). • Spain loves to party so join in at the beer festival, summer Jazz festival or one of the many carnivals. • For some tranquility, rent a boat and go sailing in Anglès (5km).
