Campsite Description

With direct access to a broad stretch of golden sand and the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean, Camping Les Sablons is the perfect location for an active family holiday. This large site is well designed with both sunny and shaded pitches arranged neatly in avenues. Among the excellent on-site facilities there is an attractive swimming pool complex with two pools, a large sunbathing terrace and exciting waterslides. Summer evenings can be spent in the bar and restaurant, enjoying traditional food alongside the locals. In high season the site becomes lively with entertainment and sports competitions organised throughout the day and open air discos held several times a week. Location: Just 500m from Portiragnes-Plage with its shops and cafés. Around & about: Visit the large, lively resort of Cap d'Agde, which boasts a wealth of nature, history and fine architecture. You can take a boat trip around the bay, or go further afield to the impressive Fort de Brescou. Béziers, just 7km away, is the capital of the Languedoc wine country and is well worth a visit, with its stunning Gothic cathedral dating back to the 13th Century.
