Situated just 4km from the sweeping beaches of the Côte Sauvage between La Rochelle and Royan, L’Orée du Bois is the perfect location for a beach and sightseeing holiday. The pitches are flat and sandy and are separated by trees, shrubs and hedges with some even having private bathrooms which can be reserved in advance. The attractive pool complex offers something for all the family, including slides, waterfalls, fountains, jacuzzis, and an excellent children’s water play area. Overlooking the pool, you will find a popular bar and restaurant with a spacious terrace providing a great menu of local specialities and international cuisine. There is also a fantastic play area and a tree top adventure course next door to the site with a maze of high wire tree crossings and zip wires. A wide range of activities and evening entertainment is organised in high season, giving the site a lively atmosphere and making it ideal for families with teenagers. There are sports tournaments and children’s clubs during the day and magic shows, discos and live bands in the evening.
