This beautiful campsite is close to the quaint hillside town of Largentière, and the area abounds in outdoor activities such as kayaking, rock climbing and paragliding.
Les Ranchisses is a fantastic site, set in the south of the stunning Ardèche region, in the wooded grounds of an old farm, and on the banks of the River Ligne. It is a modern campsite, with dramatic views of the surrounding landscape, and pitches which are level and grassy. The impressive facilities include a new health and beauty centre (16+ only), complete with a jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, Turkish bath and gym, and treatments such as Chinese massages and body scrubs are available (charges apply). There is also a small lake which younger children can use for canoeing, swimming or fishing, and there is a skate park for older children. Stone clad outbuildings, with climbing rose bushes, house the beautiful restaurant and bar, where it is possible to sit on the terrace and enjoy an excellent meal under the light shade of the lime trees. There are many scenic walks in the local area, and routes are available from reception, as well as information about the nearby gorges.

Set amongst the magnificent hills, this stunning pool complex is a genuine French paradise. With sunloungers, thatched parasols and still waters, you'll love relaxing at the poolside. For further unwinding, why not hit the jacuzzi, sauna and spa which will leave you feeling totally relaxed. With separate children's and toddler pools, this campsite has the whole family covered for maximum enjoyment.
