This campsite is set in a wooded valley, on the edge of the Dordogne and Armagnac regions, south of the elegant city of Bordeaux.

In the grounds of a 16th Century mill house, it is charming and hospitable, with a laid back atmosphere and customers who return year after year. The site is made up entirely of touring pitches, which are flat, privately hedged and grassy. Green and leafy, the camping area is encompassed with large willow trees and attractive shrubs. The restaurant serves hearty home cooked meals using freshly grown produce, and has an outdoor terrace overlooking the picturesque fishing lake. Keen anglers can fish throughout the season, and it is popular for catching rainbow, tiger and brown trout, as well as roach and carp. As this is a peaceful campsite, the evening entertainment is low key, with just a weekly quiz night held in the bar. Local walking and cycling routes are available in reception, and this is a great way to spot deer, kingfishers and wild boar. This is a great base from which to explore the Aquitaine region of France, which is an area unspoilt by tourism, with many historical towns, beautiful châteaux and excellent wine caves.
