This pretty campsite lies in rolling countryside, in the foothills of the Chartreuse Massif, which is an area of green valleys, medieval villages and mountain lakes
This is a picturesque region, and the site has beautiful views from many of its flat and grassy pitches, including distant panoramas of the peaks of the western Alps. The site itself is enhanced by an abundance of colourful flowers, and the impressive facilities include modern sanitary blocks and a recently added heated outdoor pool. There is also a charming bar with a covered outdoor terrace, and an excellent wooden beamed restaurant. Here it is possible to sample the local Chartreuse herbal liqueur, or order from one of the many varying menus on offer, including Italian and French cuisine, seafood and meat dishes or fresh salad plates and children’s meals. In high season, the campsite organises barbecue and music evenings, and an information pack is given to all customers on arrival with details of numerous local attractions and ways to to explore the beauty of the peaceful Dauphiné countryside to the full.
