La Yole is set in a woodland glade of pine and poplar trees, and is ideal for families with young children.
Although near to many superb golden beaches, it is set back from the coast road and away from the bustling crowds, making it perfect for those preferring a slightly quieter holiday. The campsite is decorated with pretty flowers and colourful shrubs, and most of the flat and grassy pitches are lightly shaded and divided by neat hedges. The facilities are immaculate and include a lagoon style aqua complex comprising indoor, outdoor and paddling pools, and entertainment is organised in high season including magic shows, family discos and quiz nights. The chic and lively town of St Jean-de-Monts is a short distance away, and has ice cream parlours, regional markets and seaside stalls selling fresh local produce. Inland from the coast, there are many pretty forests which are an ideal spot for a picnic, and a vast network of cycle tracks which run along salt marshes, sand dunes and rocky coastlines.
