The Normandy region of France is a landscape of lush green farmland, wooded valleys of apple trees and cobbled market towns. All of which lie adjacent to a magnificent stretch of over 360 miles of beautiful coastline. Richly steeped in history, there is so much to see including the haunting D-Day landing beaches, the Bayeux Tapestry and the majestic abbey of Le Mont St Michel. From the dramatic white chalk cliffs at Etretat, to the pretty time-forgotten villages of half timbered buildings, it is not hard to see why this area drew many Impressionist Artists.
